2008 Work Weekend

Do you have construction or remodeling skills? Or would you like to learn? Can you work hard? Or prepare a hot meal for volunteer laborers? Then come down, lend a hand, and enjoy the beauty and camaraderie of Camp Wyandot. Camp is a special place, but Mother Nature takes her toll on the roofs or screens, and sometimes fells decades-old trees. Volunteers are such a crucial part of all our programs at Camp Fire, and upkeep at Wyandot is no exception. The camp has a fulltime caretaker, of course, but larger projects require many strong hands. Men and women are welcome!

The council generally plans a Work Weekend in the spring to get ready for camp, and in the fall to “batten the hatches” for winter.

Check back for 2008 dates.
