OHIO STATE FAIR

Camp Fire provides its club and individual members a chance to compete with other youth across the state in traditional fair categories.
The Camp Fire area at the state fair is an impressive display of our kids’ accomplishments!

Visit the Youth Discovery Building during the Ohio State Fair to see arts, crafts, baking and other projects by Camp Fire youth.

Youth members can win cash awards if their entry places in its category or wins Best of Show! Best of Show winners in the food category and creative writing are eligible for savings bonds!

Club leaders: Encourage your youth to enter in one or many categories, such as Individual Project, Individual Grand Award, Club Sewing, and Creative Writing.


For competition information, go to the Ohio State Fair website. Camp Fire members are also eligible to enter other competitions at the fair, such as livestock.

All youth who have completed seventh grade can apply to be a fair aid. Two youth age 16 to 21 are Camp Fire USA’s representatives on the Junior Fair Board, which is a two-year commitment.
